Perhaps open the image file on your computer using MSPaint and flip 180 degrees and try re-inserting into your signature? I would give that a try.

I would report your silliness to one of the site team but they are just as bad as you are!

This works if you took the pic with an iPhone:

Go to the pic and press EDIT
From bottom right of display press the CROP tool (should be last one)
From top left of display press the ROTATE tool, turn pic 90*
Press DONE to save

Return to EDIT mode on the same pic
Select CROP tool
Select ROTATE and turn pic back to original upright position
Press DONE to save

Upload pic and (fingers crossed) it will appear right side up.

Seriously, don't try to make sense of it. It's puckwudgies all the way down.

It's well known that the forum has a thing for turning portrait images on their side to show them landscape. (Turning them upside down is extremely unusual, but doesn't astound me.)

It did this so often to me, I genned up a "photo frame" to make portrait images wider than they were tall, which fixed it. But lately the forum has stopped rotating any of my photos, and I haven't had to use it in months. However, it's still tormenting other users.

All I can recommend, if you really need to make a photo work, is to use the Preview button to see what the forum will do with it -- if it molests it, take the photo, trim it a little, or crop it a little, or make it slightly bigger or smaller, or rotate it somewhere and then back, and keep uploading it and using the Preview button until the forum gets the message. It's unwieldy, but you can beat the forum into submission if you do it long enough.

I go into my iPad photo album and edit/ crop the picture to make it square…then hit preview till it looks right…sometimes have to flip it the opposite way until it shows up properly

If there's an "auto rotate" feature on your iPhone (I don't know I use Android) then it may be that it appears to be correctly oriented but the actual file code is not. Just postulating.

Solved Profile Picture

Used this tool to resize the image below the 400x400 pixel limit and it worked like a charm! https://www.reduceimages.com/ AND realized that the picture underneath the username is actually the Avatar!

FYI this is his daughter typing as he mentioned I would fix it for him

I was starting to wonder why there wasn’t a pic in the signature block.
