Jasin, can we set up a Go-Fund-Me page for you maybe? After paying for two weddings in the same month I thought Brenda and I were going to have to go back to Ramen noodles and Vienna sausages....

Lol I appreciate the offer ..my daughter and her fiancé wouldn’t let me pay for the wedding They saved up a lot of money and are only planning 60 people. She let me give them a donation towards the caterer but they are pretty independent as far as money goes.

Glad you are having a great Labor Day. I spent my day digging holes in the dirt and moving rose bushes. One of the few weekends we actually returned home after weeks and weeks of extended camping. We're home for a few days. Got the trailer washed, including the roof. It took me 4 days to do it all. Yep, I'm working my tail off this Labor day weekend.

Well good for you for getting things done!.. My wife and I are usually working around the house..we can’t seem to relax unless we are camping or if we convince ourselves to take a break and go out on the boat..sometimes we feel like the day was wasted if we didn’t get a a bunch of projects either started or completed ..I was doing Sheetrock and spackling for a bathroom remodel the last couple of days…wife is always working in the yard …between our house and our kids houses we are always doing something…..does feel good at the end of the day

Sounds like someone got some work done. Me too, even did a roof inspection on my trailer- good but it needs a good cleaning. I’m glad all my kids are already married and have their own families.

My last child left in 1991 and the "empty nest" was both fun and sad. What do I miss??? That "child labor" (up to 18) to help me whether it was washing a vehicle, RV or rebuilding an engine. Now....
