Very nice TV. I too ordered a 2022 F450 back in April and was told last week it will be built Sep 20th week. I cant wait to be were you are.

Yes, you are more than covered with the 1.5 ton monstrosity super duty. :-)
Very nice color too. Enjoy!

The only thing not thrilled is the registration cost each year ugggg

I don't think it is much more than a typical pickup in TN. My dealer did not charge me any extra for the registration fees.

I was very lucky to hear some information that had me order the truck in April because the pricing were going to go through the roof - such as paying MSRP and even higher.
I ordered the 2022 F450 Platinum and received 6% off MSRP and was very humbled, then 45 days later the truck pricing increased crazy pricing.....Thankfully i beat that curve :-)
I knew it was a long wait......I ordered a few options like moonroof, 5th prep package, snow prep package ( not going to be plowing snow ) but for $200 a no brainer. And added the homelink - which shocked me as i thought these were installed on all cars today. Did not have to sign over my first born :-). I think the MSRP was 90K.

I’m going bonkers right now becuase the dealer wants my current TV which is a 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500 LTZ 8’ bed, crew cab, SRW with every option available, and the truck is super clean and looks great with a whoping 78K on it. Garaged since new, no animals no accidents and its ready to go BUT i need it to tow my 5er 2 more trips. Killing me bc the money they are offereing me crazy. I hope the offer is still good ( i would guess around mid october i can seel after my last trip) :-) i dont know how, but 5 dealers ships somehow found out i will be selling it, and they wont stop calling me ---- too funny.

Your very lucky! In PA the registration is $600 per year.
My Chevy 3500 is $260 per year so increase $340 Uggggg. I may consider lowering the tow capacity which would then put me back at $260.......I will not go over an F350 rating with my 5er based on the GVWR......My notary advised to do this since i wont be over the weight. Yes, i went over kill on the truck because i lost 5er breaks last year and thankfully i was able to stop thanks to having the exahust brake. So that said, i went with the F450 as extra precaustion knowing the brakes are HUGE and will be able to stop the rig.
Just talking about it gets me excited for October so i can post my picture :-)

Diesel Mike, my God man, you've already got that goofy 'new truck look' on your face and you haven't even gotten it yet!

Congrats, and that is a gorgeous color, even if it is a Ford!

That will handle your rig just fine, and a much bigger one, ha.
