Getting Ready for Winter Camping

Here in the Rocky Mountains, you need to prepare early for winter camping.
I will understand if the weight police have a few suggestions with this set up

Mount cross country skis on the camper jacks, sort of like "outriggers on a canoe" and even if it does get topheavy, it'll stay upright.....

You know, that looks pretty intriguing....and fun! Since I doubt he will ever see a highway and it will be just him, if it teeters off..it's just him!! But if it doesn't I can imagine having lots of fun with that (or getting stuck in the middle of nowhere).

Saw an F150 with about the same camper on it last week in Oregon. I doubt he could drive it at night as the headlights appeared to point straight up, unless he was a squirrel hunter.
