Possible new Bullet owner

Hi,
Looking at the Bullet 290bhs for our first TT after camping in a pop-up.
I was wondering if anyone had experience with one at a state park and any issues getting water front sites.
I have concerns with site reservations due to size.

Thanks in advance

Depends where your looking at state parks, some have length restrictions & others have too many trees & boulders lining the roadway.
FYI, the overall length of that rv is 33'9".

I’m a newbie and bought a 273bhs bullet. Didn’t have problems finding sites. Although there were entire sections of places limited to < 25 ft. Why don’t you pick the places you’d like to go and attempt a reservation for this size trailer? (But don’t actually make the reservation)

That is a big bumper pull and hopefully your tow vehicle is up to pulling a 34' camper which will have a pin weight of about 1000 lbs. No half ton truck or SUV will be happy. Good luck.

If you are asking about South Carolina State Parks, we use them quite a bit and it seems like all of them list what size unit will fit in each site. We have found some North Carolina parks do the same and some do not. Maryland state parks tend to do the same but only on full hookup sites. There are some great full hookup sites lakeside at Greenwood Lake SP.
Happy camping!

State parks around me are the exact reason that we decided to go with a Passport 239ML. Plenty of room for our smaller family and I can get into just about any site around me with ease. Our friends have a 2800BH Grand Design and its way more restrictive.
