We bought a Cougar 366RDS just before the cold weather started in September, 2019, so we had one weekend before the campground was closed.
It's parked at a small year-round RV "resort" only 18 spots.
My GMC Sierra 1500 won't cut the mustard to tow, but we can rent a semi or pay someone to bring it in for service.
I'm a commercial driver trainer who drove semis for many years; driving, parking and handling a 40' trailer is small for me, but I have no interest in hauling anything larger than the 6'6" box on the back of my truck.
We both grew up RVing with our families.
We had a 26' trailer when the kids were smaller and traveled a lot with it.
We tried to rebuild a 73 GMC Motorhome but became discouraged with the 1-step forward, 2-steps back game.
So here we are, waiting till May 1st to start visiting our new fifth wheel.
