Television Problems

My television won't turn on after sitting through one Our Alaskan winters. The TV seems to be screwed down to the shelf. I have a fireplace underneath it and don't know how to get into it either. I've checked the plugs and they are hot.

I have a 2004 Montana, 3380RL.

Would appreciate some feedback on how to remove the television.

THX, Phyxsius

You have to remove the fire place. There are wood plugs around the fire place that you have to take out to reveal the screws. After you have the fire place out you will be able to see where they screwed thru the top of the fire place surround into the bottom of the tv.

Television Problems

I got the plugs out and the screws too. I got the frame to the fireplace off and looking up at the bottom of the tv, the screws holding it down were coming from the inside frame of the tv. Not sure if I'm going to have use a pry bar or not. Thank You Very Much for getting Me this far!!! If You know what to do from here, Please let me know!!!

Sounds like it's time for an upgrade to a light weight flat screen LCD or LED HiDef
