Electric awning

New to theses electric awnings are the considered reliable? And is there a way to roll them up manually if they do take a fit and dont work.thanks for the info.i just keep waiting for it to not work on a windy day.

Ours has been reliable so far. Would like to monitor this thread to understand how to retract the awning if the motor fails for some reason.

2012 Copper Canyon 273FWRET being towed by a 1994 Ford F350 CC,LB,Dually diesel.
Airlift 5000 bags, Prodigy brake control, 5 gauges on the pillar.Used to tow a '97 Jayco 323RKS.

Now an RVIA registered tech. Retired from Law enforcement in 2008 after 25+ yrs.
