No A/C!
Oh no! Just got to campground, unhooked and leveled up. Plugged her in to get the a/c cooling and nothing. The only thing I get when I turn on the thermostat is a click at the unit. No fan... Fuses are good and breakers are good. Any ideas?

You're 30amp, right? Anything else electric working? Wondering if the pedestal isn't working properly....

Crisis averted crisis averted! Bad 30 and 50 receptacle in pedestal. Host changed them out and we are good to go! Thank god!

Yup. Park host checked the pedestal plugs and they were sketchy at best. Replaced and were good to go..

Hopefully you travel with protection! Surge Protection, those campsite pedestals can pack a punch

Hope you have the above; if not, I would advise getting one. It would have told you immediately if there was a power problem.

I'm finally going to be installing my Progressive Industries HW EMS this afternoon... It's been bugging me senseless - sitting here in the box just staring at me all day, every day.

When I bought this trailer, the guy included a surge protector. It has no markings of brand, lights, instructions or anything. May be time to upgrade...

Yes, I would agree it's time to upgrade. Get a smart one that tells you what is going on and what it's doing. Some have fault codes, mine has a readout. I use a Surge Guard and have had super luck with it since 2014. Others swear by the Progressive units. Whichever you choose, choose one and upgrade. I suspect any of the units I mentioned would have told you that you had an electrical problem right off the bat.
