Like my 2017 Passport Elite 19rb

Picked up our new 19rb in early November, took it out for the first time November 17 & 18. Still learning this being our first travel trailer, but this is a sweet little unit.Would like to here from others who have a 19rb

We bought the 19RB 3 months ago and we have made two trips so far. We absolutely love the TT as it is perfect for my DW and I. Also it is our first TT so we wanted to get something manageable. I have no complaints at all. I like the way it towed behind my Acadia but I recently upgraded my TV to a Sierra 1500 which ought to be much better. The fridge takes longer than I expected to cool down. Brought the TT home with me before last trip and plugged the fridge in and it did not seem to cool at all over 3-4 hours. Once we got to the site it cooed just fine on the 30amp service so I need to explore that. Being brand spankin new to RVing I learned about disconnecting the neg post on my battery but I suspect if you are experienced in TT you will know that. I am keeping an eye on my tires but so far so good...I tow at 60MPH.

My DW loves the TT and frankly it was the only way we were going to go camping so this works out great. Keep in touch and lets share information as we go.

On electric the fridge will normally takes 8-12 hours to cool down well. On propane it cools down more quickly. Enjoy.

What about the negative battery post? Newbie here!

I think MT was saying to disconnect the negative terminal between trips to keep the battery from draining due to parasitic drain caused by the radio, etc...

We just bought a 19RB. SWEET!

I'm wondering if you looked at the water pump yet? I am thinking of attaching a bypass hose on the suction side to draw in RV antifreeze.

Anyway, are you looking at any modifications?

Great to hear from you as I would like some feedback from other owners. As for modifications your idea with the waterpump sounds like a good one as it would make winterizing easier. I am planning on installing an inline surge protector, just having issues as where to install it because of lack of space where the power cord coils. About your furnace, when it is operating do you have much air flow from the vent at the foot of the bed. I don't, would like to here from you about that if possible. Also do you find it hard to get around the king size bed?

I just ordered an inline EMS-HW-30C, electrical management system. Surge is important but so is fluctuating voltage which this unit comes highly recommended. I looked and will install it behind the main power inverter box, just to the right of the power cord coils area. There are only four screws holding the power box in and if you remove you will see there is plenty of room there and the wiring was actually quite neatly done. Can't say as much for the drilled hole to the propane detector, looks like a rat chewed through the wood, lol. The furnace doesn't seem to have much air flow. Getting around the King is a given since they sacrificed room for bed size. You have to shuffle. I'm new to this forum and will try to post a pic of the area behind the power centre. If not, check it out. Oh, btw, before the four screws, there are two near the top you have to remove to take the decorative face off to access the four screws. Pops on and off, no problem!

Yeah behind the converter is where I initially wanted to install it(same unit you are talking about). Once I got the cover off it looked really tight back in there. Yes I noticed the hole punched in the wall to route the plumbing for the tub,that's sad to see that. So after talking it over with my wife I think we will get the portable unit.
