I would also be aware of the garage size with a sxs. My raptor has a 10ft garage and certain sxs won't fit in there even the two seat ones. Make sure you load the sxs before you buy!

I pull with a dually and no issues at all. I used to pull with a 3/4 ton and it did fine but not as comfortable of a drive as the dually pulling it

Wind and trucks passing doesn't bother it. The single wheel would give a little away with the 35's on it. But the dually just holds it there. Even brought it home in a storm once with gusty winds. Truck held firm all the way.

Will your SXS fit in your truck bed? If so, I would go to a bumper pull. Actually I would go to a bumper pull toy hauler anyway, unless of course you want a new truck.

Bumper pulls pull worse then fifth wheel. And yes it fits in truck but you need the tailgate down

Re: Any buyers remorse. Pain to own or pull

We at one time, bought a 30' TT, and towed with a Suburban. It was the worse experience ever towing. I was cautious about the TT weight, and well within the ratings of the vehicle, but it still was a PAIN to tow. Semi's and Bus' would have us swaying all over the road, and just didn't feel comfortable or safe. Ultimately what it came down to, was I believe the tow vehicle wheelbase wasn't long enough for the length of the TT.

It turned us off of RV'ing for several years, plus it also was about the time our kids were getting to the point of not wanting to go camping. So yes, we really had buyer's remorse, because we didn't enjoy the TT, didn't even want to take it out for short weekend trips.

Of course, we've upgraded our Tow Vehicle, and have a small fifthwheel, so we've moved on, but it took some time to get over that bad experience.

I'm still bothered by people towing TT that looks to long for their SUV. Don't say anything, but just hope their safe and in control.
