2014 Copper Canyon 314FWRLS born 03 May 2014, number 431 of model year

Hello all,
We are new to this forum, we are brand new (almost) 5th wheel campers, and needless to say, we are very excited. We ordered our camper two months ago, I just returned from the Keystone Sprinter Factory (Plant 1) last night and watched them assemble my brand new Copper Canyon 314FWRLS. What a treat! 15.5 hours of driving round trip for a 2.5 hour factory tour and witness to the event, and of course lots of pictures. Was it worth it? You bet! We located at Fort Campbell Kentucky (Clarksville TN), we want to join an RV group in the area. I have tried to contact Good Sam club nearby in Paris TN, but never received any response. Any assistance would be appreciated. Also, while at the factory, I saw that the trailer had "trailer king" tires. Just the name scares the hell out of me. I am a believer that you get what you paid for. I never cut corners on tires and run Michelins whenever I can. I have researched all over today and cannot find much on these tires. Are they made by Power King? If so, where are they made at? Luckily I did not find a bunch of bad information on them. Are they any good?
Anyway, hopefully the unit will reach the dealer next week, they will install three slide toppers and a second roof air unit and complete a dealer PDI before we do our PDI. We should be able to pick it up the week after the next. Mike and Taesun Bounds

to the group and congrats on the new camper! That had to be really neat to actually go and see them build your unit. I can't help you on the tires much. We have the Power kings on ours, but have only put 500 miles on them. All I can say is that they are a nice looking tire for the camper.

Thanks for your service to our nation, and doing your part to keep our team flying!

Congratulations on the new fiver. Must be cool to see it built. My guess is the tires are likely the cheapest foreign made tires Keystone could buy. The parent company of Towmax (can't remember the name), makes several brands. I'm sure yours are one of them. I just took delivery of a new Sydney in April. I had the dealer remove the junk ST tires and replace with Firestone LT's as part of the deal. The last thing I want to worry about is a premature blow out or related damage. I feel I did the right thing.
Good luck and don't forget about doing a thorough PDI before you sign the dotted line.

Roger that, thank you. I pulled the PDI checklist from www.angelfire.com/trek/buenavistas. Seemed like a good PDI checklist. If anyone knows of a better one, please do let me know.
