Window Sealing

Something I noticed on the new Passport recently I've been wondering about...on my old Clipper, there was a bead of Proflex (or other type of flexible caulk, I'm just assuming Proflex) around the upper part of every window from about 2" on each side and across the top.

The Passport windows do not have this - since I live in the PNW and we're subject to lots of rain (tho by the rainy season I'm usually winterized and covered) I'm scratching my head as to why they don't....does anyone with a newer model see this with theirs or should I go out and DIY and add that extra layer of protection?

It’s not going to hurt anything if you add sealant.

Yeah - more of a curiosity as to if anyone else has seen this as a recurring “omission” on keystones part or if it’s “by design”. Already ordered two tubes of proflex clear and will be tackling that this week.

I’ve been seeing more and more without the sealant, Not just Keystone.
