AC troubles

Hello, I have a Montana 5th wheel and am a first time RV’er. I have reset my iN·command system and now the zone control on my keypad has no reading. My air conditioners are not coming on and nothing I do seems to work.

Please help me.

How did you reset thenIn Command system ? If you only pressed the reset button on the BCM it most likely won’t help

Do a hard reset.. if not already done

You must
.. turn off the display commander and BCM
.. disconnect battery cable .. using battery disconnect won’t work as BCM is hard wired
..disconnect shore power

Why?

This remove the 12 volt output from converter to the roof AC control boxes and will often let them and gateways reset the internal relays

Wait a minute or two and then
.. reconnect battery lead
.. turn BCM and display on
.. apply shore power

Observe if the HVAC zones now display an actual temp reading instead of the - symbol

If temp now shows operate each zone and observe operation

To everyone with a problem with their thermostat pull the fuse to the furnace, check it and replace it if it’s bad. Seem the thermostats are powered thru the furnace.

The thermostats are not powered thru the furnace. Instead..if he had a thermostat ..which he doesn’t they are powered from 12 volt source sent down from zone 1 control board on the roof..
