Inverter ???

Unless you have a residential refrigerator, you do not have an INverter.

Are you confusing the INverter with the CONverter???

INverter inverts 12VDC to 120VAC
CONverter Converts 120VAC to 12VDC

Generally it's directly behind or below the power center... where the fuses and breakers are...

Just to the left of the stairs going up to the bedroom level, you'll see the countertop. In the base cabinet, facing the stairs is the AC/DC power center. inside is is the DC fuse panel and the circuit breaker panel. If you remove the front cover from that power center, in the bottom half (below the door that opens to reveal the fuses/circuit breakers) you'll find a small 4" computer fan. That fan is on the end of the DC Converter assembly.
