Slide out Gap? Tilt?

The slide on my TT, when closed, has a significant gap where the slide facia and the wall are supposed to meet. The gap is just at the top. The gap narrows as it goes down, until its flush.
Water does come in when it rains, on both ends of the slide. Ive been searching and reading forums for weeks trying to figure out the correct terminology for the different parts of the RV, and trying to find a post with a similar issue, but have not yet. Can someone tell me what would need to be done? From the outside, when slide is closed, it look like its maybe tilted inwards a bit. FYI This is a 2010 Sprinter 31BH. Theres no warranty, and no options to take it to a dealer to look at.
Thank you for any help!
Sorry for the sideways picture, I dont know why it uploaded like that.

If you’ve never done a slide adjustment and cannot take it to a dealer, I’d call a mobile tech. You can attempt to adjust it yourself, but if you don’t know what you’re doing, I wouldn’t suggest it.

Im no RV expert by any means. Ive only had this TT, for a few months. I have basic knowledge of mechanics type stuff, and have a neighbor who will help me, when I find someone to tell me if this is an adjustment problem , or something bent, broke or missing?
Trying to figure out what type of slide system I have, so I can compare one online to mine, is the hardest, most frustrating problem Im having. Owners Manual for my unit, doesnt detail any of that. It says to refer to the manufacturer of the components for details. I know who the manufacturer is for the tolet, stove, and fridge is, but nothing else on this thing is labeled, so how am i supposed to refer to the manufacturer manuals? Sorry about that, its just so frustrating.

More than likely you have a cable system, there are several you-tube videos on how to correct a cable system. Open the slide a few feet and check outside for cable wires, 2 on each side, or look at inside of slide on top and check for motor and gear box.

That’s not a cable slide, you’d see the cables in that pic.

OP: put the slide out about 1/2 way and look underneath. Tell me if you see two square tubes with teeth on the bottom sides. Then look at one tube and tell me if you see a shiny bar ( hydraulic Ram) next to it. I

There are adjustments you can make depending on type of slide.

You did good. Now let’s see if we can’t get it fixed.
Put the slide out all the way, measure the distance from the wall to the edge of the slide near the bottom, they should be within 1/4”.

Then retract the slide until either the top edge or the bottom edge stops coming in, and tell me which one reached first. Then go outside and look at the “Bell” and tell me if it’s touching the frame.

I will have to wait until tomarrow to do the measurements. What is the Bell? And could you tell what kind of slide it is, hydraulic or electric driven? And thank you so much for taking your time, to help me with this nightmare.

Your very welcome.

The bell is the large bell shaped thing in the first picture. I can’t tell if it’s electric or hydraulic, but I am guessing electric. If you can see a very shiny rod on one side it’s hydraulic.
