I stand corrected on the furnace filter and absolutely agree with Marshall.

Cheers!

If your worried about the furnace you may be able to remove the return grill and vacuum the return area that you can reach. Maybe spray a little Lysol in there while the furnace is off. You could get a small Honeywell air cleaner to keep in the living area and that would catch a lot of the daily dust .I would in addition not let any pets sleep close to the return grill and I would clean dusty dirty shoes outside the trailer.
When the furnace is running the return grill is a giant vacuum cleaner

Small update. I spent hours hunting online for higher amp-hour batteries that would get us through some cold nights in the 3495FL and settled on two Vmax V6-225ah AGM batteries.

It looks like the combination will be 1/2 inch too wide for the battery container tray in the 3495FL, but I'm stuck with 'em and will have to figure out a way.

So yesterday I'm paying for tires at Costco, turn around and there on the rack are Interstate 6V 210ah AGM batteries that will fit perfectly. For about 40% less than I paid for the Vmax batteries.

So if you're searching for batteries, don't rule out Costco. If I had it to do over... That's where I'd buy.

Thanks. I have 1 12v battery but 3 holders. May add a set of 6v and will look there!

Hi Gary, Hope you're well.

Curious if you or another 3495FL owner can tell where the filter/bag is supposed to be to the built-in Dirt Devil vacuum system. We see some mention of it in the under-side storage, but no place to add a 'bag' or filter as we'd normally add to a home vacuum. Thanks for any pointers!

The bag area should be visible in the pass through storage area, a red or black 4-5" square that says "Dirt Devil", pull the cover off & you should find the bag. Hopefully they have a bag installed otherwise be prepared for a dust storm when you remove that cover.

Hello Michael,

What Danny stated is true. Remove any stuff you have in there and you should see the unit at the very back of the compartment, on the lower right. Be prepared to crawl in there to access the thing. Ours has a black cover.

Take care!
