Replace steps

I need to replace the steps on 2013 27RKSW.
I can reach the 2 rear bolts through the wheel well, the 2 rear bolts are hidden under the siding, I am afraid to remove the screws holding the bottom of the siding on because it might break when I try to move it.
Should I cut an access hole in the Cloroplast or in the swept underside of the siding.
Thanks in advance

Is the coroplast riveted on? If so I would remove the rivets, change the steps and then use stainless steel self tapping screws.

It is held with screws already.
Do you think that I should cut it or would there be enough roomto get to the nuts?
Thanks

Just take enough screws out to get to the step hardware. I’ve been able to change tank valves that way.
