Towing Avalanche 312RS

Is anyone towing a Avalanche 312RS or similar with a long bed SRW Duramax 3500 diesel?
Would you buy a SRW again or a dually?
Your pros and cons of your tow rig?
Thanks in advance!

I'm towing a 313RS with a Ford F350 dually and there is no way I'd consider a SRW with this trailer.

Well 15K GVWR 5er and dry pin at almost 2,600# it would be a tight fit for a SRW payload. One gets use to the extra width at the hips, in short order.

i ran a dually welding rig for years however, I'd like to get back into a SRW. However, that may not work out. You're right it's pushing the payload, not a lot of tolerance.
Thanks

Towing a 2021 312RS with a 2020 Chevy 3500 DRW. I had the truck before the camper, but wouldn't consider downsizing. I've only had the chance to make 1 trip so far, but the truck pulls great.

The only issue that I have is that the truck sits a little too high. I had to move the hitch all the way up to make sure I had clearance to the bed rails. I actually scraped the bed rails slightly the first time backing into my driveway. Because of this, the trailer sits a little bit more nose high than I would like.

Did you happen to "run across a CAT scale on the way home with the empty trailer? If so, the comparison of "advertised weight/pin weight and "reality" would be interesting....

We often tell new owners "Don't believe the brochure" but we don't have very many examples of the "contrast/compare"... If you did weigh your new, empty rig, those weights would be interesting.
