Ice machines??

The wife had decided she wants a counter top ice machine for the RV.
Any recommendations?

We used to have a Dometic unit but it was pretty large. Bought the one in the link below in 2019 and loved it. Built just like the Dometic and works flawlessly. I would recommend it.

About 5 years ago we bought one at Sam's Club for $79 (I think). Price is up a bit, but ours is still working and makes enough ice to keep us "drinking cool" no matter where we camp (as long as we have 120 VAC and a source of water to pour into the ice maker)...

As you shop, you'll come to realize that nearly all the "countertop ice makers" look the same, work the same and are probably built in the same factory. So, whether it's a Dometic, a Sam's, a Target, or some other brand, it will likely have identical "guts and switches" with a different color ice scoop and basket.....

^^^This! I second the Frigidaire model. Makes 2 sizes of ice and is pretty quick at making it. Got it at Sam's on sale at $79 about 4 months ago.

We also have the Frigidaire and love it. One thing, they work a lot better if inside the camper. We set ours on a table outside a few times, for convenience when a lot of people were around. It was kind of hot and humid out and it made less and it melted faster.
