Hi everyone

Hello, thanks for having us. We currently have a Forest River bumper pull and looking at switching to a fifth wheel, with one of the options being a Keystone. What better place to do some research than a Keystone forum.

Welcome to the forum

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. You can even stay if you don’t buy a Keystone.

Welcome, would help if we had some more info when you do ask for advice. What truck do you have now, do you intend to upgrade the truck when you go with a 5 th wheel? What size fiver are you considering and what are you looking for (needs and wants) in a another trailer.

Welcome!! We moved up from a FR Wildwood travel trailer to our Cougar. Very happy with the upgrade and with this forum.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind!

I'll get there, one step at a time! I'm well fluent in forum etiquette. I'll fill out my signature next, but we have a 2017 Ram 2500 towing a 2007 Rockwood 2701SS for a few years now. Yes I'm aware of the payload limitations of a 3/4 ton diesel, but we're looking for a half-ton towable bunkhouse 5th wheel. The 28RDB has my interest as one is available locally. Market is crazy though, I could have got a hardly used Jayco 265BHS in the fall for an amazing price if we weren't restricted in travelling. I'm hoping there might be some good deals in the fall again if people are allowed to start flying for vacations instead of driving... I'm not in a rush, though. Currently expanding the upper bunk in our 2701SS from a single to a double for more room for our 10 year old to expand the trailer's useful life for us.

As long as you're aware that "half-ton towable" is a marketing slogan, not an enforceable commitment. (A lot like "To Protect and Serve.")

Good day. I went to see the redbull air races in Windsor/Detroit years ago now. I was on the Windsor side, wish I would have had more time to go check out Detroit.

Dude, stay with Forest River. I would buy back my 2008 in a heartbeat. Bought a 2020 25RES. Now we are in a lawsuit to get them to take it back.
