Electrical Plug in for RV

I know this has been ask before about Outlets to plug camper in at home. I just installed a 30amp Outdoor power outlet at home and just want to know if this will work. As you look at the receptacle head on the hot is on the left and neutral is on right and ground is on top. I do have a EMS wire in to camper. I bought this at Menards with 10-2 wire. Thanks for any help. DDG

Sounds like it is wired correctly. You should wire it to a single 30A breaker and the 10/2 looks fine.

The correct receptacle for a 30A ......NEMA TT-30R configuration. If that is what you have, that would be the correct one. Anything else is wrong.

Thanks to all that have responded to my question and you have help me out with question. Yes wiredgeorge I have a 30amp breaker in the box that it's wire up to thanks for asking. Thanks DDG
