some repair questions

We picked up a 2003 Montana 3655FL today and I wanted to ask some advice on some needed repairs.

1) It has the stress crack below the front living room slide. I have read up on it and can fix the outside damage. My question is, how safe is this to tow? Is the underlying structural damage a serious concern? I don't plan on towing it much. It will be parked on our property for the foreseeable future, but I would still like to know.

2) I am used to dealing with some rot on slides of trailers of this age, but the slides are solid. However, there is rot on the main floor inside both corners of the bedroom slide. (rear of the trailer). What is the most common cause of this? Leaking around the edges of the slide? Also, I assume I am going to have to remove the bed and frame, cut out the rot and splice in some new wood. If anyone has made this repair, are there any tips or advice? The rot is also in the storage compartment floor under the closet, but after I find and fix the leak, I will probably just put some wood hardener there and cover it with some plywood.

That's my starting point.

Does anyone know if these came with booths instead of table and chairs? I don't like the table and chair set up.

Sounds more like it was in a flood then a leak. Is the basement rot directly under the other areas? Locating the leak If there is one would be the most important thing first. Recpro or shop4seats website can get you squared away with furniture.

Sadly fixing the filon crack on the outside will not bring you any lasting joy.. most likely you have a structure issue with a broken weld inside the wall areas... the outside repair will most, likely quickly crack again until repair is done on structure..
