New Member - hello from PA

Hello, while not new to Keystone campers, I am new to this forum. We recently purchased a 2019 Laredo and absolutely love it. I do have a question, maybe someone else has noticed this too and has a solution. The burners on my stove are slippery - how can I keep pans from sliding off??

No wonder the pans fall off, they installed your stove upside down!

The pics get posted they way they were taken by the phone and displayed in a landscape orientation. Spo if you take the pic in portrait (phone is taller than wide) then it will rotate it to landscape. UIf you take it in landscape upside down then it will display it that way. You can download it to your computer or tablet and rotate it and save it then upload the pic.

As for your "slippery" burners after they get used a few times the porcelain will get roughed up and will solve your issue.

By the way, we love the Bloomsburg area. Been camping all around that area for many years.

Thanks for the funny! Gave me a good laugh! You're right, I didn't think about how I was taking the picture on my tablet! I was just cooking something and thinking to myself about bringing a little piece of steel wool and roughing the burners up, just a bit. Glad you like our little slice of the state, we do too! Where all have you camped around here??

"Around" to me is maybe a 30 mile radius. We typically go to Knoebels Amusement Park 2X/yr. Been to Spring Gulch, Fantasy Isl in Sunbury, Whispering Pines. I think over the years we've been to most of them from State College east to Hazelton and down to Phili in the SE and Gettysburg in the SW.

There are some favorites, Knoebels (not for the cg), Star Lite, Red Run (Reading Area), Lake-In-Wood (Narvon below Reading) are a few that come to mind.

We used to go to the Lancaster/Harrisburg area a lot when I was working as it wasn't too far and was good for a quick week end.

Took a grate out of my home kitchen double oven and cut it to size
placed it upside down on my RV stove top to get lip on front edge.
Used small stainless steel clamps to hold it in place. Keeps pots and
pans from sliding off. Hope this helps

Sorry, I'm not sure. We have a seasonal site at a local campground. I believe the campground at Knoebel's is open.
