Hey all!
So I guess I'll start by saying that I'm SUPER new to the RV life. SUPER new being like....a little over a month.
Dec 27th at about 5am my family home caught fire and by 6:20 was completely engulfed.
We weren't home. But heartbreakingly enough, our sweet fur baby was.
We lost everything. And yes, our fur baby.
All that was left was some change and a belt buckle.
Fast forward about 2 weeks, my boyfriend got a loan, and we ended up with our new home. A 2012 Cougar 5th wheel.
So...yea. That's me in a nutshell!
Mom, wife, worker bee and most recently fire Victim. Hate that.

Welcome to the forum from sunny south Florida. I can't imagine the horrors of the fire, but you've got a new start now!

Welcome!! Sad situation that brings your family into RVing, but at least you know you have great support team here. Lots of experienced folks willing to help with any questions as you get started.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum and the RV life. As a retired fire-medic, I have first hand knowledge of the great sense of loss folks feel when they lose their home and belongings to fire. God Bless, and enjoy that Cougar!

Thanks everyone! It's definitely been humbling. My 8year old son is heartbroken. As well as all his gifts, we lost our 9 year old fur baby. So the loss has been even more difficult.
I'm glad I found you all!
We have so many questions and searching the web for answers has been such a pain
I'm glad to be here!
❤
