Could this be possible?
I have a brand new 2018 Cougar. Just noticed that the top 5 marker lights in the back don't work. Checked and they all have power and good ground. Replaced one with one known to work and it works fine. Is it possible all five are burned out? The are single LED lights that came with the trailer. How could this be?

With the cheap lights they install from the factory, yes, they can all be bad.
It also looks like you might have a leak into the cap which can cause it to fail.

What Wobly ^^^^ said, and NOW is a good time to replace those corroded screws.
On edit, I’d check to see if the connections aren’t corroded.

If it's a "brand new 2018" then it should be covered by the Keystone warranty. If so, contact your dealership and have them send you the lights if they will. No need to pay for replacements if you can get them covered by warranty.

Check all of those light fixtures. It sure looks like moisture has been in the one in the pic. I've had them leak around the snap on tops and the sealant on top leak and let water run down the back into the light. Heck, I think I remember one that had the drain hole put on upside down...

I don’t think it really matters, there isn’t a “weep hole” that I know of.

I think what has happened is, they installed 12 volt LED's and with the converter putting out as much as 13.7 volts or occasionally a bit more, that is what burned out these bulbs. You can use better bulbs rated at 10 to 24 or 30 volts and you won't likely have this problem.

Unless the OP has wired them himself to burn when parked the clearence lights won't be on when powered by shore power.

Just to clarify:
The trailer is brand new. I am the first owner. Purchased from a keystone dealer. It is wired correctly and came this way from the factory. Yes, the lights are installed upside down. I have ordered replacements. I do not feel like dragging the trailer 50 miles to the dealer and have it sit there until they replace the lights. Much easier and more cost efficient to just replace them myself.

While it may be "new" to you if you check the manufacturing date it could me several months old but that's not relevant IM<HO. From the pictures (I was being a little facetious on the lens being upside down as it doesn't matter) the relevant, telling photo is the one with the lens off. The rusted mounting lag screws and the rusted metal flakes all over the inside of the fixture is a sure sign of significant water intrusion. I doubt the actual LED is burned out but rather the circuit board is shorted out from water and metal particles.
It's not my money but if it were, I'd replace the lights as you have stated and spend the extra $$ to use stainless lags screws. Use silicon sealant in the screw holes before inserting the screws and sealover the wiring hole. Some dielectric grease over the connections and you should have a "trouble free" repair for several years.

Hi... Can you confirm that the lights ever worked?
Reason I ask is.... Some LED lights are polarized and only work when plugged in correctly. Can you pull the light and flip it 180* and plug it back in?

First they are mounted 180 degrees wrong. Pry hole should be down. Second just buy some new ones.Why waste your time !!!!!

The running lights are NEVER connected to the converter in normal operation. The only way the running lights will see "converter voltage" is if the owner jumpers the 7 pin umbilical to cause the running lights to burn when at a camping site.
Granted, the tow vehicle alternator will likely put out 13.6-14.2 VDC depending on the charge state of the vehicle main battery, and that voltage could be sent to the running lights, but with the length of wire from the vehicle voltage regulator to the 7 pin plug, the voltage drop would likely only deliver 11-12 volts to the running lights.
ADDED: In the first post, the OP added two photos. The second photo is of the light assembly with the lens removed. The screws are corroded, indicating that there has been water intrusion under the lens. Looking at that same photo, there is a "weep hole/pry hole" to remove the lens. It's mounted at the TOP of the light base assembly and is "covered with silicone"... That "weep hole/pry hole" should be at the bottom of the light assembly, not the top. It's clear to me that the light assemblies were installed upside down at the factory and the silicone plug applied to the weep hole/pry hole failed or there is also leakage behind the light assembly.
As the OP stated in a later post, he is aware that the lights were installed incorrectly and he is replacing them. That should solve the issue as the wiring is likely intact and not damaged. Once the replacement lights are properly installed with sealant behind them, the weep hole/pry hole on the bottom and the lens installed correctly, his problem "should be" solved. Hopefully, his dealership will pay the cost of replacement lights (available at WalMart for $4 each) and hopefully that will complete his problem with a satisfactory result.

I have a 2019 Cougar only used once and had the same problem. The one in the middle worked, one outside barley worked and the rest not at all. replace all 5 with l.e.d ones from amazon for 15 bucks. Not worth the time wasted with warranty.And was sure not gonna take it back to CW for it. All work great now.

Similar thing happened to me. I have a 2018 Cougar, noticed one high marker lights (led) in the rear wasn't working. For the record, it actually was, but just so dim I could see until I took the lens off to inspect. Power source was fine, but it too was a single led - just try to find them, could only find 3-led replacements. Soooo, knowing that the one 3-led would drive me crazier than the non-working one - I replaced the 2 outboard marker lights with 3-led replacements and left the 3 single lights in the center alone. The symmetry make me feel better and though by definition, I can't see them. Plus they were only like $3.00 a piece at CW.
