Outside Speaker Replacement

Has anyone replaced their outside speakers with a more formidable speaker?

Not that I want to blast out my neighbors, but I would like to replace them with something that at least has a better, crisper sound.

What brand, size did you use, if so?

Bought these on Mon at one of the boat stores in Wichita, haven't installed them yet. Planning to do so this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

On a side note, not really sure how much of a difference these will make for me. I say that because mostly with the outdoor speakers on the Rv, you are really competing with all the other sounds of the outdoors. Wind, trees, water, kids, dogs, generators, talking, traffic, coupled with the low volume (so as not to ruin other campers' time) - just not sure that a quality speaker would really matter or be worth the $$/trouble. I'm gonna put them in though, and see if it makes a big difference. If not, I was thinking of putting them inside. That would probably be more bang for the buck.

OK, got them installed. Definitely better quality sound. But, as I said in my original post - you have to strain to really tell . Just too much other stuff going on outside to really appreciate it.

But, I also installed some new ones inside also. Now that was $$ well spent.

Pics attached.
