2008 Energy FB230 rotten floor, bad design!

Noticed some bulging in the floor and starting investigating where this came from. Removed the anchor point and noticed the floor is wet and soft.

Long story short, on both sides, exactly where the wheel wells are the floor is completely rotten.

Keystone saved $ 0.25 by not putting any flashing where the plastic wheel flares are. A result is that all the water/moist will run down the wall straight into the exposed wooden floor.

Result, complete replacement of the floor. Good time waster for this winter.

I noticed a few units for sale close by ( a 2008 FB230 and FB260) and both of them have the same problem. It is very hard to see and both owners did not noticed.

So, 2008 Energy owners be warned. Check your floor! (not sure about other models)

Will post some pictures tomorrow.
