You have to understand that Anson is from the Toronto area and anyone who has either lived there or visited would go to similar extremes (it looks as if he did) to get as far away from "TO" as they can whenever they can.

It looks like he won't be bothered by noisy camping neighbours.

Are you going to live in it or is this just a remote place to get away from it all?

Nice TV and you didn't have to worry about air pressure, maximum speed or payload. Is there a well or spring for water or do you have to carry it in with you. I guess the only neighbors have four legs or feathers. Looks great, enjoy, Hank

You guys are awesome!

I knew this would be the place to share the hell I went through yesterday..with people who would understand!! You're right.. sick of TO and this is totally remote!! I had a smart mom who bought property on a lake in Parry Sound Ont... We have a cottage on one side of the lake and now this on the other side..(brother usually hogs the cottage).... Going to pump water up from the lake (about 130ft) and fill the fresh water tank when needed.. Going back tomorrow to level it. I'm actually still rattled from yesterday tho!!!

It looks like a great place to get away to! Being in the trees and away from people is so peaceful! We have a cabin on the gulf islands and we usually plan for weekends but end up staying for a month at a time.

so nice...

Wow! The gulf islands would be beautiful... I couldn't agree with you more about the abundance of trees and and a lack of people creating a perfect recipe for peace

Why the excavator? From the pictures it looks like it could have been backed in there with a 1/2 ton Eco-Boost

Believe it or not...I don't think a truck would have been able to but then again I've seen some mean looking trucks. In the first 50 feet the trailer sunk about 3ft into deep mud then had to go up an 80 degree incline. Also, had to prep the trail beforehand (move huge rocks and big tree stumps after we cut them). The excavator was even slipping a bit going up the incline.
