I agree with Steve. Even now we don't use a paper towel holder....rather not look at them. We use a free standing tp holder we found at Walmart or Kohls. We stow it when traveling. I don't want holes in the walls.

I agree with Keystone's approach here.

There are more important things to complain about...I sincerely hope none of us encounter them.

Yeah, just go to KMART or WALMART or someplace like that and buy some and put them in yourself. That's what I did and they work great. I used the self stick type boosted by a water proof sealer/adhesive of my own that I had in my shop and reinforsed with small screws. Holding fine and looking great.

I'm kinda glad they didn't put one in the trailer only because I am certain it would have been hideous and cheap plastic. Here is what I did.

Its funny- they are mounted in new homes- has any one moved it in their house??
To me the problem is- you can not mount it in the "normal" location next to the seat.
Mine came in a box- My dealer offered to install it any where my wife wanted it. He recommended ( for both of us) to let her pick the location. 15 months later its still in the box.

We also use the floor TP stand and counter top PT holder.

We are thankful Keystone did not install pt and tp holders. It allowed the DW to "shop to accessorize". Finding holders that fit the decor or match the fixtures that we replaced because they were cheap or function less than adequate. Some may be fine with the supplied items, but making the RV easier to live in makes the RV experience that much better.

We purchased a free standing toilet paper holder and purchased a towel rack that hangs on the interior door.

Wbg1 - Very nice upgrade. Our Montana came with a cheap plastic deal.

Our TT came without any towel holders. After using the trailer for a while we are still deciding on what to get and where to locate them

Hadn't thought of that... thanks!

holders

Our Laredo had them under the bathroom sink. They weren't cheap plastic but the nicer metal ones. I was able to put up the tP holder on the wall, but couldn't put up a towel ring near our sink. The wall is metal. I am going to get some command strips and put it up. I use a paper towel holder and stow it over the fridge when we travel.

Our National SurfSide Class A had the TP holder installed in the worst possible place. And it was a bitch to move because they made a huge hole when they installed it.

I'm with Keystone on not installing a TP holder. I've never bought a house with Paper Towel holder, so that doesn't bug me. Towel bars.. My RV's always came with them, I always remove them so I can buy more and have them match.

I agree with most others since i like to do these types of things myself. However if you don't maybe the dealers should offer. Like a value added service during the PDI. Especially if the parts are in a box or available in their store.

Ours also had no holders of any kind. DW went and bought what she liked and i installed. I put the TP holder on the backside of vanity door and used screws with recessed washers on outside to hold brackets. Looks good and will never fall off. Installed paper towel holder on underside of cabinets to right of stove. Great location as you can reach when peaking though entry door.

Life is great, when your left complaining about a TP holder.

I missed them too when we picked up ours.

I found a bag under the bathroom sink that contained the soap dish, TP holder, and towel ring . All cheap plastic, no screws or anchors. I bought a nice chrome set at the hardware store and installed them.

Thumbs up

I had the same question regarding the absence of a TP holder in Keystone trailers. After reading this post, it makes sense. We had a 1997 Nash and had to relocate the TP holder because you had to go into contortions to get the paper. Doing so left unsightly holes in the otherwise lovely bathroom closet. I appreciate Keystone for leaving the holder off so we can install it where we want it, not where someone else thinks it should be.

BTW, our 2014 Cougar 5th-wheel came with a TP holder. Just not installed. I intend to check with the dealer before installing to make sure there is nothing behind the wall to get damaged. Or, might just leave it out. I sort of like the idea of a stand up holder or just keeping the TP in the vanity cupboard. Simpler is better - and the fewer holes in the walls, the better.

The TP holder was in a bag under the sink. It was cheap plastic, and it still sitting under the sink. We bought the TP holder with the weighted base, it sits out of the way, and handy when needed.
Paper towel holder is the upright type that sits on the counter. Stored above the frig when we are traveling.
These options work great for us.
