Satellite Reception on a 2013 31 Bullet Premier

Hello Folks,

I am unable to receive any sat signal from the cable or sat plug located in the rear of the trailer. It works fine from a direct connect to the receiver. I called Keystone and the tech advised me that the input at the rear is for satellite. Any suggestions.

Behind your main tv, there should be a coaxial cable not associated with the antenna/booster. If you have this cable, it should be wired directly to the "satellite in" connection in the exterior. There can not be any splitters in line between the sat receiver and the dish. The coax behind my main tv for satellite is Grey. I hope this helps you.

Hi Steve,

I took the box off just to see what was there. There is only a black wire to the connector and I couldn't see any other wire. I should mention that the box has 2 connections. The one on top is a female connector for what looks like a 12 volt male connection. Besides that, I don't see anything.

bullet

We have a bullet 278 I hooked cable that comes from back with connector to the input on reciever, then from output of reciever back to the amp.
the reciever will become your A-B switch. We have Dish net work with a reciever from the house. Also the best thing is the tailgator sat. you will have to update your reciever. turn off amp to use sat. turn off reciever and turn on amp to use ant.

I figured it out. On the rear of the plate next to the TV, there are 2 coax cables going in One is black, the other grey. The black one is the connection from the rear of the TT. I disconnected the black coax and put in a new plate next to the existing plate, and voila!

Just need to figure out if the grey wire is the one that connects to the bunk house TV. If it does then I'll send a signal from the receiver in front to the bunkhouse so that the kids can watch their TV there.
