Outdoor antenna hookup

I have a 2011 Laredo 291TG. I've had the TV working inside on cable, antenna and thru the DVD. Over the weekend tried taking the TV outside to watch the race, but couldn't make it work. I have 2 cable outlets, one in the outdoor kitchen and one about 1/2 way between the door and the outdoor kitchen. Are these only good when hooked to cable, or will they work with the antenna?

The antenna booster must be on. There is only one for all outlets.

tried it both on and off, the TV just said low digital signal strength. Took the TV back inside and it worked off the antenna just fine. Will be hooked to cable on the next camping trip in a couple of weeks,will see if the outside jacks work on cable then.
