Battery charge Fuse

My double pole fuse is bad. It is getting power from charger, but not out of other pole to battery. Anyone know the amp size of it? Mine has no numbers or anything.
Thanks

If you remove the DC mini-breaker from the trailer mount (2 screws in the base mount) you might find the amp rating on the bottom. If there's no label on the breaker, possibly there are others mounted nearby. If so, look at the gauge wiring on them and their amp rating. Usually "similar wire sizes are connected to similar amp rated breakers" but that is not always true, just a "generality"...

If there is nothing else to go by, here is a 12 VDC amp/wire size chart. While it is not "RVIA certified and not Keystone approved" it is a "generalized chart that depicts wire size with amp rating for the "average length wiring run" (whatever that might be).

Generally speaking, 12 ga multistrand wire uses a 10 amp breaker, 10 ga uses a 20 amp breaker, 8 ga uses a 30 amp breaker and 6 ga uses a 40 amp breaker. That said, longer runs use larger gauge wire or smaller amp breakers. A "long run" would have a larger voltage drop which increases amperage and means larger wire to meet the watt demand for the circuit....

Hopefully, you'll find that label on the bottom of the breaker can or a similar size wire on a breaker nearby that you can use as a "probably the same rating"....

Keep in mind that Keystone does not provide any "proprietary information" on their products and they consider wiring diagrams, plumbing runs and structural blueprints to be "proprietary information" so Keystone probably will not even tell you where to start, other than to say, "Please contact your dealer for that information".

As inexpensive as those circuit breakers are I'd replace with a 30 Amp. If that trips too often then go to a 40. DO NOT USE A 40 AMP FIRST because you'll never know if it doesn't trip it may allow the wires to overheat. If you can5find a rating on BEFORE removing, the remove it completely and look closely after cleaning it. Often the Amp rating is stamped in the metal case and dirt/ corrosion will abscure it.

Also, when installing the replacement mini-breaker, there is a difference in "post sides"... The brass color or the gold color terminal is the "battery input side" and the silver color terminal is the "breaker out to load side".
