Lippert leveling system
I keep getting a RF or LF fault message. If I mess with it long enough I am able to get it to auto level correctly. When I turn it on is when it has the RF or LF fault. Anyone else have this issue?

Never heard of kippers, I’m thinking you mean Lippert.
You probably have Ground Control 3.0, you need to re home the system first. Make sure EACH jack inner leg is extended at least 6”, then press retract and hold for 2 seconds. When you release your finger all jacks should continue to retract. Once all jacks have fully retracted you will get ready jacks up message.
Then every time you turn the system on, scroll to the battery voltage display and if it isn’t 12.7 or better, plug in/hook up to TV BEFORE starting anything.

I've gotten those kinds of error messages randomly since I first bought our 5er. Various conditions, occasionally my fault, but mostly just random for no particular reason.
Frustrating. I just do as Chuckster suggests and move on.

Same here. Haven't figured out the rhyme or reason to it faulting so now just continue on in manual mode to finish what I'm doing (while it beeps) then do the rehome and go again. Mine always errors LF (IIRC). Also seems to happen when I raise the front to pull off the Andersen hitch and it gets pretty high.

Okay!!! I always plug in before starting any leveling. Tho it did tell me low voltage even tho it was plugged in for the first time today. Thank you

That's the reason I changed from the Andersen to the Demco Recon. Most of my errors were occurring the last 3-4 inches of lift needed to clear the Andersen ball...errors were starting to happen every hookup and unhook. Now I don't have to lift so high and my error rate went way down. Still happens, but not nearly as often

If your plugged in and getting a low voltage message, either the battery(s) were about dead or you have an issue with the charging circuit.

I’m pretty sure kippers leveling is when you use the sardine cans stacked up under the jacks?…mostly seen in the Pacific Northwest…boondockers (boomfockers?)

George that was "entertaining", but; "kippers" for breakfast? With "poached" eggs? I like my fish (never had kippers) but never ate them at breakfast. Bacon, sausage, ham? Throw it on. Eggs? Fried, scrambled, boiled please.
I did enjoy the video but if I try it it would probably be with snapper, grouper, redfish or flounder. Choices, choices!
And unfortunately, I'm afraid this was probably just enough to push Brian over the edge; I can see him searching youtube for all the relevant videos - you go Brian!!

You can’t get any help for your addiction until you admit to it and resolve to stay on your treatment regimen. There’s probably a YouTube video for that.

I'm guessing it is already too late in this thread for a tacky 'snacks' joke?
