Stock Tires
I think I read on here that owners recommend replacing the stock tires ASAP, is that correct?

Stock tires? I assume on the RV? Looking at your profile looks like you have a 175bh single axle. If the OE tires are Trailer King I would have them off today. It's bad enough to have a failure on a tandem axle trailer but when a tire on a single axle RV decides to self destruct at 65 mph.....it just ain't good.

I'm not sure what the tires are, I've got about 1k miles so far, and I plan on using them for two short trips coming up. I'll replace them before my 2500+ mile trip this summer.

Keystone typically does not put an expensive tire on a Springdale. I’d be looking at the brand closely and most likely upgrading. Maxxis 8008 have been a great tire for that size of trailer for many years.

Another thing I would highly recommend is to get a good-quality TPMS system. A TPMS will notify you of most impending problems so you can stop before the situation becomes critical.
I use the EezTire TPMS which is not very popular, but it works very well for me and has alerted me to problems with the tire's inflation level - saving me a lot of trouble.

I'm not familiar with that system, but if it provides pressure/temperature alarms for your tires, then go for it. My system provides monitoring of all 10 of my tires, which is one of the reasons I went that route

Seriously, this is a critical investment in safety. Without a good system, you're really playing some long odds. I've towed without a TPMS in the past, but now that I've learned about how important they are, I would never want to tow without one.

I had a Tireminder originally. It was an earlier model (can't remember the model #) and I did not like it. The sensors would not work until you starting driving. The only way to get them to "turn on" without driving was to unscrew them until air started leaking out then screw them back on. It was designed that way and they were operating "normally" according to the manual. That seemed illogical to me.
I replaced it with the TST 507 and couldn't be happier. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutly in my opinion. No regrets in spending the money for how it performs. Something can be better than nothing unless that something can't be trusted. With the way the old system worked and as slow as it was to update readings I had no trust in it. JMHO, YMMV

I'd get rid of those tires ASAP. I don't know what kind of wheels are on your TT but I would be sure they would hold an upgraded tire. If not, I would go to a steel wheel that would. Sell those China bomb tires before you get too many miles on them.
Goodyear Endurance, or my favorite the new design Carlisle HD.
Price them at WalMart.com.
edit add: go with the TST. Just realize you have to peel the screen protector off. ahem

Those smaller Springdales all came with steel modular wheels. I don’t think an aluminum wheel was even an upgrade option. Judging by the fact that you said two tires, you either have no slides and a dry weight around 3,500 lbs or one slide with a dry weight just over 4,000 lbs. Either way, I’d get an LRE if possible. Your LRDs are only going to be index 113 rated for 2500 lbs in a 225/75R15. If you get a 205/75R15, I think you’ll be limited to an LRD index 107 are only 2150 lbs each which would carry the weight, in theory, but too close to maxing them out and will exceed the weight rating once the tires start to age and lose load carrying capacity. An LRE index 117 is 2835 lbs each. Many people would think a small trailer would not need an LRE tire, but you’d have to remember there’s only 2 of them. I just checked the keystone website, the minis with a slide come with the 224/75R15 LRE, the none slide units are a 205/75R15 LRD. Regardless of which one you have, I’d go with the LREs.
