Slide Water Damage

I have a 2019 243BHS and discovered water damage on the inside left corner of my dinette this morning. We have had a significant amount of rain recently. When I look on the slide roof I don’t see water pooling. What does concern me is that there is sealing tape of some sort, where the rubber roof ends, all along the entire length but very little silicone along the edges. There is maybe six inches along either edge ending. Has anyone experienced this type of leakage and if so what is the remedy? I’m considering a Lippert slide topper but don’t want to spend the money if it doesn’t prevent water from getting on the roof.
