2020 was new year for pumps. Part number?
hello all,
we have a 2020 passport. from what the dealer said, there was a pump head change last year. my Flowjet pump does not have tradition threaded type connections. It has a quick connect type. anyone find a winterize kit for the new pump heads?

No need for a winterize kit. Just take off the pump inlet and attach a hose with the quick connect fitting.

FloJet pumps installed by Keystone have, at least since 2010, used quick connect fittings like those in your post. There is no "winterization kit" that I'm aware of for that type pump fitting. What I did was buy a 4' length of clear 1/2" vinyl tubing and the fitting on the left in your post. Remove the pump inlet fitting (from the water pump) and install the new fitting with the clear hose attached. Put the end of the clear hose into a gallon of antifreeze and turn the pump on. Monitor the level of antifreeze and replace the jug as needed. Once you've finished instilling antifreeze, remove the fitting and reinstall the fitting from the fresh water tank.
The comment from your dealer about FloJet "changing the pump head last year" is quite outdated. FloJet has been using the quick connect fittings for quite a long time. It's not a "new change"...
ShurFlo pump, on the other hand, have used "threaded fittings" since the 70's and probably even before that.
All the above refers to RV type pumps... Flojet has some commercial/agricultural 12 volt pumps that do use threaded fittings, so it's possible that someone could have installed a FloJet pump with threaded fittings in an RV. But AFAIK, it didn't come from Keystone with those fittings or that type of FloJet pump.

yea, i just got back from Ace, picked up some 1/2 tubing and after a bit of a struggle, pulled out the flowjet quick connect fitting form tubing going to the tank. Thinking for next year, but that will wait for today. It was 23 when I left for the gym this AM.

Yup, I did that just now; got some tubing, and will get 2nd fitting to keep in there... its not so hard to get the input line off. the dealer did call back and said he new of nothing.
thanks to both of you for your input.

If you order the fitting from Amazon, buy the "two pack" as there is always an issue with getting grit/sand on the O-ring, damaging it and needing a replacement on a Saturday evening at the campground to keep water running...
Also, while you're ordering, there's a "long, long history" of trash being sucked up, out of the fresh water tank. Things like shavings of plastic from cutting the holes in the tank are commonly what's found in damaged pump heads. Prevent your pump from being damaged by installing a FloJet strainer between the fresh water tank and the pump head. Cost is very low and installation is as simple as putting it between the fitting and the pump and pushing the blue locking tab.... It's one of the "best $8 investment" you can make for your RV.

X3... I just ordered on also. Better than replacing the pump again.

I bought a single quick fitting and the filter for my 2019 (made in 2018). Added a short section of hose and I have a very inexpensive winterizing “kit”
