Remove an AC vent cover

Can someone please tell or better yet show me how to remove or open an AC vent cover? I have a 2017 Sprinter 298FWRLS.
I know most vent cover just pop out and back in but I cannot seem to pop these out. Please help!

Can you post a pic? I know of 2 different styles and they come apart completely different.

Seems to me there should be some screws along the bottom edge of the cover that screw into the metal base to remove/install a shroud.

There are no visible screws. A friend of mine has a Montana High Country. His clip in and out but mine are different than his.
