Gate Valve

Hey guys. I just purchased a new cougar 368mbi in May. All has been going well so far; thanks to you guys many of my questions have been answered without having to post anything. But now I have one that I don't see discussed so far.

I was poking around the belly of the trailer to make sure I would have a place to connect a stabilizer system when I came across a white gate valve towards the rear on the driver's side. Does anyone have any idea what this is for? I do not see any mention of it any where. Thanks for your feedback.

That’s probably what it is. Especially if it’s just a blade valve pointing straight down. BTW, welcome to the forum!!!

Thanks

Thanks. I thought so but I didn't want to pull it and find out the hard way that it was something else. That is helpful to have. A few weeks ago I ran the sinks to empty the tank. Wish I would have seen it sooner.

How are you liking the 368mbi? I just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago and am towards the end of an 8 night shake down trip. So far it’s a huge improvement over my previous smaller Jayco travel trailer.

I picked mine up in May and have been using it almost every weekend since. So far so good. I have to say though, I've been fixing little things all around. I am not impressed with the quality: cabinet door latches breaking, the oven sparker stopped working, closet doors fall off the tracks every time I use the rv, the hinge under the matters just pulled apart causing the hydraulic spring to push the plywood into the dresser, the shower walls pealing, hot water heater had a loose fitting leaked out the bottom of the rv, etc. I hope the little things stop at some point but all in all it is very comfortable.

I would imagine since all the rv's seem to be built the same this is true for every rv out there. How do you like yours?
