They work well for me. Install was a 20 minute process.
I would suggest that you initially not use the included spacer until you drive around empty and see how the ride is. The issue is the spacer not allowing enough clearance before contact to allow the suspension to work.
When empty, I have about 1 1/2" of travel before the Timbren rubber makes contact and ride is good. When loaded, the Timbren makes contact and compresses the Timbren about a 1/2". This also results in a good ride. You just don't want the Timbren taking up the slack and slapping against the stop all the time.
It also helps to have good shocks.
