BAL Hide A Spare

I have a 2014 Bullet 246RBS TT and I am not sure which model of the BAL Hide A Spare I need to order. I have the "Polar Package" which gives me an enclosed underbelly. There are two models for an enclosed underbelly, the MODEL 28216: 70” to 75” frame, Underslung mount for trailers with enclosed underbelly and the MODEL 28218: 70” to 75” frame, I-Beam Underslung mount for trailers with enclosed underbelly.

I am thinking the 28218 would be the one to get. Aren't the Bullets built with an I-Beam frame?

Your answer lies with first verifying what type of frame you have on your TT. If in fact you have an I-Beam frame, then the 28218 is the model that fits.

This is the same model I installed and was very easy doing do.

I wasn't able to check about the I-beam construction until yesterday which is why I was asking. I checked and have ordered the model 28218.

I have a gas lining running the entire length of the camper on the outside edge (passenger side). I guess that rules out the BAL Hide A Spare.

Is the gas line line running below the I-beam? If so, you can still install it. The end brackets sit above the bottom of the I-beam and hang below by 11 inches. Mine had the gas pipe also and it worked just fine. If you do a forum search for BAL Hide-A-Spare, you'll see photos of my install.
