We took ours out on March 22nd. It was a bit of a gamble, but we went to Santa Fe, NM. It was pretty chilly there and froze one night, but warmer than here in Wyoming. Stayed in Ft. Collins, CO on the way there (it snowed). Dewinterized when we reached Santa Fe, and rewinterized in Moab, UT yesterday morning. Home last night, and today it's snowing! It was worth every second!! A little bit of remission relief.

Just got back from Caddo Lake State Park, weather was wonderful. Just cool enough where a campfire felt good but not so cool that you needed a jacket.

The wife and the puppies enjoyed our 5 day trip last week. Being how WE ARE in NC, we saw all 4 seasons last week. Started cold and windy( winter) then nice and sunny ( spring) then got to 80 degrees with lots of sunshine( summer) last day cold again with flurries and my goodness the worst wind I ever drove in coming home! ( fall).
But as they say " a bad day camping is better than a good day at work!"

Randy Sent this!!

Texas bound

Hi all. Haven't been on in a while but the Polar Vortex is gone and the Cougar is being packed up for departure for Fredericksburg Texas Sunday. We plan on spending a couple weeks.

It's been a long cold winter here in Missouri and cabin fever is rampant.

We just got a new towing vehicle and can't wait to go this season! We missed all last year due to various reasons so we are more than ready! Bring it on!
