310SRX Pin Box Make and Dimensions

Hi Everyone,

New to the site!

We are buying a new to us 2008 Keystone Cougar 310SRX from out of state and will be towing with my Pullrite industry standard hitch.

Can anyone confirm what make and the size of the pin box is on this Cougar? I want to make sure my Pullrite Quick Connect capture plate from our old pin box will transfer over.

I'm too comfortable the seller is able to properly measure the pin box for me prior to me driving all the way there.

Haven't been able to find any info on the web.

Thanks and I appreciate any thoughts!

Scott

Hi Scott & welcome to the forum.

A quick forum search found only one Cougar 310SRX owner/member here, and unfortunately he/she hasn't posted
since joining a few years ago. That model was only built from 2007-2009, so there won't be as many to compare
notes... BUT... don't despair

Keystone typically uses a Lippert pin box, and chances are it's a fairly common model also used on that SRX.

If the current out-of-state owner could provide you with the pin box model #, then it's possible some of
our members (including those who own other SRX models) can offer some help with the measurements you need.

Good luck & happy trails,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

Thank you Terri! I have since been able to determine the pin box is a Lippert model 1621, so I think I've solved my issue for now.

Thanks again for the reply!
