Smile New to Cougar

Hello from Oregon,
Twenty-five years ago my wife and I got together and camping was a big thing to do. We started out with a handful of tents and six kids between us. We both came with three kids each and not lot of money, but want to provide a healthy environment for our children. Since then we have had several campers. Now that our children are all grown, we’ve upgraded our camper lifestyle to a Keystone Cougar to 244 RLSWE. My wife compares this camper to Best Western Motels, but with more amenities. We have only had our Cougar fifth wheel but a few months. We have made several trips with our camper. Two trips more recently, to California. I have a 2012 Chevy Silverado half ton truck and the Cougar pulls like a dream with this vehicle.
Coming into the winter months now, I started weatherizing the cougar 244 RLSWE fifth wheel. I am not a stranger to weatherizing campers. I know about draining the fresh water tank and hot water tank. And blowing out the hot and cold water lines with air. But I am having problems with is finding the water pump in this new Keystone Cougar. I looked in all of the obvious places, under the sink, by the hot water tank. But I have still not found the water pump. If anybody knows where the pump is, I would appreciate you leaving feedback from me.
We are planning a trip across the United States and up the eastern seaboard next spring. I’ll be leaving feedback about our new camper and our trip along the way. I look forward to sharing our events with you.
Another happy camper.

To the forum from Michigan. I'm sure someone with your same TT will have the answer for you here.

I have a Premier and I am told my pump is above the water storage which is where the tank fill is on the outside, I will have to unscrew a panel next to my bed to get to it. Might be something similar for you so see where your water fill is and check inside the camper to see what is there. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

We do not have your model, however, our water tank is located at the rear of our trailer (the fresh water fill is on the left rear sidewall). Our water pump is inside of the road side lower cabinet in the entertainment center, behind a removable panel. Hope this helps - I think the pumps are usually close to the water tank - good luck
