Virginia state parks

Did you have any parks in mind? We've been to many of them and could probably help you out. Send me a pm with questions if you like.

Some nice COE parks up that way as well. To me they are just as good and sometimes better

Virginia state parks

North Bend ACOE on Kerr Reservoir is awesome! D loop is the newest an there are some jumbo sites in there! Bath house in C is the best I've ever seen!
Search at www.campsitephotos.com to see my pics of all the sites!
I have several Virginia state parks there too so be sure and look around and ask me any questions you have. Glad to help.
BTW, we like Shenandoah River State Park best. New 32 site RV campground with 30a e/w sites. Nice hiking and great views but not a lot of shade in the campground yet.

All Virginia state park sites can be reserved through www.reserveamerica.com and are first come first serve. You reserve a site type or loop but not a specific site.

Check rules

The one we tried to get into at Lake Lanier, GA does not allow any pets, even inside cats! Check the rules, just say'n .

Virginia charges $5 a day per dog. Not sure about cats.
