Vantage Door Screens

When we bought our 32FLS, we noticed that the 2 door screens had pulled away from the curve of the door, leaving a gap between the door frame and the screen. I mentioned it to the salesman and he pressed the screen into the frame and the screeen seemed to stay. However, I've noticed that the screens have pulled away from the frame on some of the pictures I've seen of these doors. Is this a problem and is there a fix for it?

We were in the same boat frano. In fact I went out this morning and solved the problem with a quick stop at Home Depot.

I picked up a couple packs of 'Screen Clips' and added two of them to each window frame. Install couldn't be easier and the results are exactly what I was looking for.

Nice job--I'll do the same. Did you drill all the way through the frame and use a bolt/nut combo? Thanks again.

Door screens

The doors are curved, just like the walls. And the screens are straight. They will stay curved for a little while if installed just right with some top and bottom compression from the mounting, but towing usually pops them out. The mid-height screen clips should fix that.

No reason to drill. I just unscrewed one of the existing screws on each side about half way up.

Worked like a champ.

We did the same thing. Home Depot screen clips. Installed them half way up using the existing screw sites. Works like a charm. Only draw back was the clips are white and frames are black but I don't even notice the color difference.

Door screens

A little nail polish or model paint should fix that if it ever matters.
