Replacing Towmax Tires

Trailer is 15 months old and 5400 miles on the tires. The two passanger side tires starting to round out. Front axle tire is out of round and top cap breaking down. As the tire rotates you can see anywhere between a one to two inch change in distance between tires. Time for these to go away, looking at maxxies had good luck with then before. Any other good tires????

Yes, I knew that, because it's what's on the specs for your trailer. What I was looking for is what Keystone set for a GAWR on your trailer. The actual figure will be on the certification label found on the forward left side of the trailer. Since their last recall for misinformation on some of their cargo labels and certification labels they have been much more accurate with their figures.

Are you sure you read the cert label correctly? 2200 kg is 4840 lbs.

That sounds much MUCH better. From what you were initially saying, it sounded like Keystone may have messed up on another certification label. Glad to see it was just a posting mistake here. What tires did you get?

Went with the maxxis ST 235 80R 16 10 ply load range E. Total five tires mounted, balance, disposal etc $ 959 out the door. I didn't think this was a bad price at all. Were doing two long trips next year and we both feel a lot better with good tires.
