they come for different weights, so get what you need. :-) (learned that one the hard way)

If you can, get one a little bigger than you need at present. Then when you upgrade and go heavier you won't have to get a new hitch.

If you have any doubts about your knowledge of frame mounted hitches have it done by a professional. You may want to consider a slider if your truck is a short bed. JM2¢, Hank
