Replace outdoor stove with blackstone

I have a 290BHSWE Bullet and am wondering if anyone has replaced the outdoor 2 burner stove. I’m wanting to replace with a blackstone but wondering what size and if it would be too heavy for the slides.

I replaced my grill with a Blackstone 17 had to do some mods but works great. Had I bought the 22 it would of fit perfect in the space available.

Any pictures? I don’t see they need for two extra burners outside when you can only really use one at a time.

I have a different model (Outback 291UBH), but I swapped out mine for a 17” Blackstone. Just needed to use sine 1” spacers. Slides hold the weight fine. See thread for pics.

This is an awesome mod - I have the same 291UBH do you mind sharing the gas components you needed to hookup to the existing outdoor kitchen gas hookup? Just 1” spacers for the mount and the Blackstone 17 went right in? I’m moderately handy is this an easy install? Excellent work!

Yes, super easy install. The 1” spacers were perfect for mounting the Blackstone inside the existing drawer slides. As for the propane connectors, I picked up a Torjik Blackstone RV quick connect hose and a Torjik quick connect Y adapter. The Y adapter allows me to connect both my Weber grill (Torjik also has a conversion kit for this) and my Blackstone at the same time (more for convenience). Quick and easy mod.

Thank you! I’m running a Weber Q also so this will make my life 10x easier not lugging around a 20lb tank.

Do you have clearance on the back of your griddle for the grease catch cup?

Just keep in mind these BS burn super hot so if mounting into and existing wooden drawer slide there is a chance it could possibly catch on fire. JMO
