Back at the barn....

That was a good first trip of the year in a FIXED trailer

The weather could have been better, seems a low pressure parked its butt off of Vancouver Island and refused to move, arg, waves of rain, but better than snow they had a few days before we got there.....

One thing I noticed this trip was the kids were out in force over the weekend, riding bikes and skateboards, etc, and not really being watched.

Be careful folks when driving your rig, they can quickly move into a blind spot.

If anyone wants a good recommendation to a wonderful campground, I will gladly suggest Lake Easton off of hwy 90 in Washington.

Very easy pull, and lots to do within a few hours or less.

To the east you have some real old towns that are really cool and seem to be coming out of COVID and welcoming all comers.

You have the orchards too, later in the season to pick peaches, apples, pears, etc.....

To the west you can go to Snoqualmie Falls and look at that magnificent waterfall and enjoy the resort with restaurant and casino as its an Indian reservation.....

The camping spots are generously spaced, tho mine was narrow, barely allowing me to open both slide outs, one on each side, I had to position it just right, and still I could not extend my awning because of a tree, and we had lots of rain, so.....

We are going to buy one of those stand alone canopies to pitch if needed in the future..... so we learned something too

A few pictures with my good camera.... the others I posted were with my phone.

Please enjoy them and let them bring you gladness of expectations in your journeys hopefully approaching soon....

We spent Memorial Day weekend camping and there were approximately 9 million kids running around the campground day and NIGHT. They have a big thing that looks like a hot water bottle about the size of a basketball court which was in the grassy area across the interior road from our camper and kids were bouncing until after midnight. We couldn't hear from the camper but saw them when we took our pups out for their before-bedtime stroll. Seeing that many kiddos was kind of strange as we usually don't. There is no sign of Covid in South Texas these days near as I can tell. The only people wearing masks would be the bandits and stage robbers. And if you had too much rain, send that down our way... triple digits the whole time as well as this week again.
